Innjoo has listed yet another new smartphone, the Innjoo Max 4 Pro on its official website. The Max 4 Pro was listed alongside the Innjoo Fire 4 Plus, and like the latter, it is coming without a standard variant as predecessor; there is currently no smartphone named the Innjoo Max 4.
The Innjoo Max 4 Pro is a high-end smartphone with a large battery capacity that fills up quickly with its fast charging technology.
Innjoo Max 4 Pro Review
The Innjoo Max 4 Pro runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, the latest version of the Android OS which brings you better design, split-screen mode amidst others. The Max 4 Pro is one of the few smartphones to run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
Design & Display
The Innjoo Max 4 Pro comes in the phablet section, flaunting a 6-inch IPS display with an HD (1280 * 720) pixel resolution and a 245 ppi pixel density. The display is covered with 2.5D glass, but I think an HD resolution on a display so large isn’t good enough. The colours won’t be as sharp as if it had a Full HD (1920 * 1080) resolution or if the display was 5.5 inches or lower in size.
The smartphone has a metal unibody design and an edge-to-edge display; the side bezels are almost totally invisible, thereby giving the smartphone a premium look and feel. It has a physical home button below the display which is flanked by two capacitive buttons on either side.
Memory & Performance
Under the hood, the Max 4 Pro is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz, and a Mali T860 MP2 GPU. This SoC setup is common in smartphones of its class.
The phone comes in two memory variants; the first has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory while the second comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. Both can accommodate an external microSD card to add more storage space to the default ROM configuration.
The Innjoo Max 4 Pro sports a 16MP camera with 6P lens, a f/1.8 aperture and phase detection autofocus (PDAF) at the rear. This setup allows ample light in for your pictures to be clear, and low-light situations are taken care of by the dual LED flash present below the camera.
An 8MP camera with a LED flash is present at the front for taking selfies.
The Max 4 Pro packs a 4800mAh Li-Polymer battery with a 9v/2A power adapter which charges the phone from 0% to 100% in just 1 hour 30 minutes. The battery has a standby time of 240 hours and will surely last a whole day even on heavy use.
Connectivity & Hardware
A fingerprint sensor which can unlock the phone in just 0.35 seconds is embedded into the Max 4 Pro’s physical home button to make it easier for the user to carry out security functions on the phone.
The Innjoo Max 4 Pro comes with a dual Micro SIM slot and has support for 4G LTE networks. It supports USB OTG and has GPS for location tracking.
