MyGOtv App – Manage Your GOtv Account & Subscription Easily

Multichoice Nigeria, the owners of DStv and GOtv has recently launched a new mobile application called MyGOtv, for its popular digital platform, GOtv.

According to Mr John Ugbe, the CEO of MultiChoice Nigeria, with this new mobile platform, Multichoice will put the self-service power and ease of access back into the hands of Gotv users/customers, also allowing them to effectively manage their viewing preferences, check account balances, clear error codes, change packages, make payments, and also update their details at anytime and anywhere they decide to.

Mr. Ugbe said, the new MyGOtv mobile app will become a part of the wide range of digital platforms that have been and still are innovative and quite functional in order to meet the dynamic needs, requests, and demands of GOtv customers in Africa.

Once GOtv customers — No matter the MultiChoice package a customer decides to subscribe to — have downloaded the mobile app, it becomes easy to use their customer details ( I.e customer’s last name, registered mobile number and decoder IUC number) to log in from any data enabled mobile device.

Once a customer is logged in, automatically the MyGOtv mobile application will let such users easily manage their GOtv account on the go or even from the comfort of their homes.

Mr. Ugbe, also pointed out that by enabling GOtv customers to manage and monitor their GOtv accounts independently, Multichoice expects to record a significant reduction in queues and queries at the Multichoice call-centres, thereby ultimately freeing up the Multichoice customer-facing staff and also provide an improved one-on-one support to the GOtv users who require it.

The multichoice goal is to make available an accessible, efficient and affordable platform for self-service that will improve overall user experience when they engage with GOtv.

The free GOtv mobile app has been made available for download both on Android via play store and iOS via app stores. With the GOtv mobile app, customers can upgrade or downgrade their subscription bouquet, pay GOtv bills, and clear error codes.
