Soon after Oppo’s official Twitter account gave us another look at this new approach to selfie camera placement and it looks every bit as intriguing.

From the short 15 second video, we can see the user launching the camera app and taking some sample shots. The new sensor is located in the upper middle portion of the screen and flashes for a second similar to how Samsung’s S10 phones do when switching to the front camera.

While we don’t have much more info about the device or when it might release, the company’s VP commented that the optical quality of such sensors is still inferior to regular front-facing cameras and that it will take some time to perfect the process.
