Antutu Benchmark has released the list of the best mobile phones in 2018 based on performance. The benchmark tool which is relied on by millions to test phones performance released the list after testing different Android smartphones between June 1st and June 30th.
If this is a battle of chipsets, then Qualcomm will be smiling as SnapDragon powered phones topped the charts.
Xiaomi’s gaming smartphone, the Black Shark, tops the list with 287759 points. The phone with 2.8GHz Snapdragon processor speed spots 6GB / 8 GB RAM and 64 GB / 128 GB ROM with a single charge lasting 30 Hours and has an amazing cooling system.
Coming in second place is VIVO Nex S Ultimate beating the likes OnePlus 6 Samsung Galaxy 9 and 9+ and Xiaomi Mi 8. The VIVO Nex smartphone was released last month, sports a 6.59-inch screen with SDM845 Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor clocked at 2.7GHz, with 256 GB ROM, 8 GB RAM.
OnePlus 6 takes the third position, a position it deserves anyways with its 2.8 GHz octa-core processor and 8GB RAM. Xiaomi Mi 8 takes the fourth position, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB ROM Smartisan Nut R1 take the fifth position ahead of Samsung Galaxy S9+, and Mi Mix 2S in sixth and seventh respectively. Another Samsung device, the Galaxy S9 takes the eighth position and Sony Xperia XZ2 and ZTE Nubia Red Magic completes the list.
It is worthy to note that the score above is the average scores from phones with at least 1000 units tested on the benchmark app.
